Squidoo

A good website that I make extra money with is Squidoo. It's just a really easy site to work with and you can make as much money as you want, because you can write articles about any topic, and you can promote your articles with their groups.

Plus Squidoo is a great way to advertise your other websites. I use it all the time.

eHow

Recently I've been writing a lot of how-to's for ehow. It's pretty simple and I can bust out a couple of articles a day easily. I started writing for this site because I was intrigued by it's compensation program. I've written six articles so far and am waiting to see how much I make before I write anymore. I easily got over 200 page views for those six without having to promote them at all. I'm sure most of those page views were because of ehow's categories but it seems nice to know that people are actually reading what you write.

Hopefully I will be able to update this post after I find out how much money I've made. It only takes $10 to get paid through paypal.

InboxDollars

Another big earner for me is InboxDollars. Over the last year I have been averaging about $270.00 a month with their referral program.

If you own your own website or blog you can probably make a decent income with their referral program. On average I earn about $0.70 per click which is pretty good for double opt-in.

If you are just looking for a site to make some extra money with Inboxdollars is pretty good. They have a daily survey worth $0.50 and you can take it once a day. They also offer paid email for up to $0.05 each. Other good sites like Inboxdollars include: CashCrate and Treasure Trooper. You can't go wrong with those two.

HubPages

I recently stumbled across HubPages while looking for websites to publish my articles. At first I thought it was a good site to publish my articles and make some extra money, because they let you submit your Google Adsense code for the ads on the pages.

So I wrote a couple of articles to see how this site went. The interface to write articles is similar to Squidoo, but it is clunky and terrible in comparison. They only give you a few ways to add content to the page whereas Squidoo has a lot more variety. I am really a big fan of Squidoo so my comparison might be a little biased.

That is not the only problem with Hubpages. A couple days after my articles were published I received an email from them saying my articles were taken down, because I had more than two links going to the same website in my article. To me this seems like a really strict rule. So after receiving that email I decided not to use Hubpages ever again.

MySurvey

The one survey site that really got me excited about taking paid surveys and referring others is MySurvey. It was one of the first market research companies I joined, and one I have stayed a member of.

The reasons why I like MySurvey are simple. They almost always have a couple of surveys to take every week, they usually pay more per survey than other sites, and they have a good referral program.

You can't go wrong with MySurvey if you are interested in doing market research surveys for extra money.

ZoomPanel

Another really good survey site is ZoomPanel. I usually receive one to two survey invitations a week and I earn around 200 to 500 ZoomRewards per completion. Plus if you don't qualify for a survey you receive 5 points anyways. ZoomRewards
can be redeemed for CDs, DVDs, gift cards, and more. You can redeem your points once you reach 1,000 or more.

ZoomPanel is really easy to get started with, and if you are interested in doing online paid surveys I really suggest becoming a member.

myLot

Really myLot is not a paid survey site, but it is a great site to make extra money with. Unlike paid survey sites you control how often you work on it and when you can. You don't have to wait to receive a survey invitation. You simply login into your account and start replying to discussions.

The topics can range from anything to sharing your parenting techniques, to talking about the big game last night, to sharing your favorite place to eat. The topics are endless at myLot.

You will probably make between $0.25 to $0.50 per post, and posts should be well thought out and at least 3 to 4 sentences long. Don't expect to get paid for making remarks like; "lol" or "first" or anything that doesn't add to the discussion.

If you are interested in making extra money and like writing about a wide range of topics without the hassle of it being a full article or maintaining a blog you should give myLot a try.

This Blog

My first post on this blog.

I started this blog to supplement my paid surveys website. I will include updates to my website and talk about my favorite sites to make money online, and I will also talk about the scams I have uncovered.

If you are interested in making extra money then hopefully you will find this blog helpful.
